Tour to the rainbow mountain of Palcoyo in a full day, a tour full of adventure and where you can enjoy beautiful scenery and the beautiful colors of the mountain Palcoyo. This circuit does not require much physical condition and you can do it easily.
To start the hike to Palcoyo, we pick you up from your hotel around 4:00 to 4:30 am, then we travel 02 and a half hours in a minibus to Combapata, where we stop for breakfast.
Then, we continue 1 and 1/2 hours more passing through a beautiful landscape of the Cusquenian highlands, where you will find local people going about their daily lives, to reach Palco (4700 mts. / 15419 ft.) This is the trail head,
From here you can already see 2 of these mountains, then we will start the hike, first, we walk approximately 40 minutes to get to the main viewpoint.
Once you reach the summit (Palcoyo 4900 mts. / 16076 Ft.) you will have free time to rest and take your pictures, to the different mountains, you will also be able to see a kind of stone forest.
Then, we start walking back downhill to arrive again to Palco where our transportation will be waiting for us to take us to have a comforting lunch,
Then we will take you back to Cusco again around 5:00 or 5:30 p.m. (we leave you one block away from the main square for traffic).
