To start with the tour we will pass by your accommodation between 4:20 am to 4:30 am, then we will go to the district of cusipata, where we will have our first stop to enjoy a delicious breakfast and use the toilets.
We will continue with our trip by the branch of cusipata, where we will ascend to the mountains for 1 hour to the starting point of our hike, on the route we can see some communities in the district of cusipata that still practice agriculture and livestock, the area has a variety of flora, fauna and spectacular geographical formations.
Arriving at the station of our transport we will begin our hike to the mountain vinincunca that will last 1 hour and 40 minutes (slow pace), the other way to get to the mountain is on horseback that lasts 50 minutes, taking a horse is optional and is offered by local people.
In the course of the walk we will observe the typical flora and fauna of the Peruvian Andes, among which highlights the presence of llamas, alpacas and some birds of the Andes, to reach the viewpoint of the mountain of vinicunca or mountain of colors (5038 meters above sea level. ) our guide will give us an explanation about the orography, ecosystem and color of the mountain, we can also take advantage of the moment to observe the mountain range of vinincunca, then take pictures of the memory and admire the beautiful scenery, then return by the same path to the point where we started the hike where our transport will be waiting to take us back to cusipata, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch.
